2.) Solid Wood Herringbone
Solid wood herringbone design is a stunning floor and will really set your nursery apart from crowd. We here at Tullamore Floor Store specialise in the supply and installation of herringbone floors.
The solid herringbone design can be laid with a border framing the area, or simply run to the walls. The solid herringbone comes in Oak and Merbau woods, however as the floor is installed unfinished, the oak option can be stained and finished to complement the colour of your furniture.
The finished effect is a truly beautiful floor, that will be easy to maintain, and perfect for your little person when they start running about.

3.) Flexi-Tile
Flexi-Tile is a fun flooring solution for the nursery or playroom. This is a PVC Tile, the Flexi-Tile Textured Elite, comes in various colours giving you a hip and colourful flooring for your child’s room.
They are tough and durable and warm underfoot, plus they are an interlocking tile, sort of like a Jig Saw Puzzle, which makes them perfect for the DIY Enthusiast.
Flexi-Tiles does not require any special sub floor preparation or adhesive and they are perfect for areas where children play as they are soft underfoot, and very easily cleaned and maintained.

4.) Laminate Wood Flooring.
When people think of Laminate Wood Flooring, they often think inexpensive, and doesn’t look real. However, the laminate wood flooring you see nowadays is quite the opposite. It is often hard to tell Laminate Wood Flooring apart from it’s solid wood flooring or engineered wood flooring counterparts.
For your babies room however, it provides a tough, cost effect solution, and you do not have to compromise on style, colour or comfort. Laminate Wood Flooring is easy to clean, and maintain. It’s warm underfoot so makes a super choice for nurseries and playrooms, plus spills are easily wiped up.
If you decide on Laminate Wood Flooring for your nursery, we would personally recommend that you go AC3 or Above. AC3 is suitable for Heavy Domestic Installations, so it will be tough enough to stand the test of time. As for your choice of decors or plank sizes the sky is the limit.
